I absolutely love this engagement session! Paige and Blake were dream clients. Paige had done her research and knew what she wanted, had a vision in mind, but was flexible, and most importantly ready to have fun. We started our journey out at Hillside Farmacy off East 11th. They were super kind to let us come in during service hours and take a couple shots. We were lucky that it wasn’t too crowded, because it made for some really nice shots. After that we went down to SOCO to get the famous Austin-esque shots, and then moved to a little quiet park near Zilker to catch the sunset and get some “family” shots. It was a wonderful engagement. I absolutely cannot wait to work with these two again in October. Congrats to Paige and Blake on your engagement! Thanks for the great shoot, it was so much fun!

Marissa and Todd’s wedding was an absolute blast and was gorgeous down to every last detail. I loved working at the Bob Bullock, loved the colorful floral arrangements, the DIY touches, and I absolutely loved the getting ready shots at The W Hotel. Marissa and Todd were wonderful to work with, such wonderful people. Also, a little interesting tidbit they were the first couple to hold their ceremony at the Bob Bullock Museum, which is pretty awesome. Anyway, I’ll let the photos do the talking because there are a bazillion I want to share. I am so happy for the newlyweds. I wish them the best and am so honored to have worked on their wedding. It was an amazing evening. I love working with such kind and wonderful people. Also, a big shout out to all the awesome vendors I got to work with. I had a great time working with Paige and Blake yesterday on their engagement photos. We started our adventure at Hillside Farmacy in East Austin. If you have never been, you should the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. They were so kind to let us sneak in for a few photos! After Hillside Farmacy we headed to the hotspots on SOCO and then ended at a little charming park just outside of Zilker. It was an ambitious agenda but we had fun, got some great shots, and made it to the park in perfect time for sunset. I love shooting engagements. It gives me a few hours to get to better know the couples I’ll be working with on their wedding day. This is why I include them in my packages. Anyway, Paige and Blake will be getting married this fall at Green Pastures. I cannot wait. Stay tuned for many more photos!

This adorable photo session dates back into November. It is close to my heart as this is one of my dearest friends sweet baby girl. It seems like yesterday she had just had her and now she is romping around, talking up a storm, and just plain adorable. Unfortunately this little love lives half the country away so I only get to see her and her amazing mamma when they pop into town. Anyway, here are some from shoot in the garden. This obviously wasn’t a full session, time only permitted us to squeeze in some quick photos. You can also see her full length newborn photo session and her nine month portrait session which I’m kind of obsessed with. Anyway, what a perfect little human. Such a character!

There are so many photos I want to share from this newborn portrait session I photographed a couple weeks ago. Alas, I am not quite completely done with working on them. But this one is so darn sweet I just had to share. I love a sleeping baby. I love a sleeping baby in their pure and natural state. It warms my heart and as a mother myself these are the fleeting little moments that will remain in ones heart forever and ever. Love this.

Marissa’s bridal portraits were a little bit different. We took them in the late evening at The Driskill Hotel. The lights were low, the bride looked very sophisticated and graceful. and the whole bridal session had this classic vintage feel to it. I enjoyed working on them! I cannot wait to share with you her wedding photos! They were married at the Bob Bullock Museum back in January and I am absolutely IN LOVE with her wedding. Those will be up soon! I was SO very excited when Jane contacted me and asked me to do a maternity session for her. After a super busy family season in the fall I was happy to welcome the change of pace.
