This adorable photo session dates back into November. It is close to my heart as this is one of my dearest friends sweet baby girl. It seems like yesterday she had just had her and now she is romping around, talking up a storm, and just plain adorable. Unfortunately this little love lives half the country away so I only get to see her and her amazing mamma when they pop into town. Anyway, here are some from shoot in the garden. This obviously wasn’t a full session, time only permitted us to squeeze in some quick photos. You can also see her full length newborn photo session and her nine month portrait session which I’m kind of obsessed with. Anyway, what a perfect little human. Such a character!

There are so many photos I want to share from this newborn portrait session I photographed a couple weeks ago. Alas, I am not quite completely done with working on them. But this one is so darn sweet I just had to share. I love a sleeping baby. I love a sleeping baby in their pure and natural state. It warms my heart and as a mother myself these are the fleeting little moments that will remain in ones heart forever and ever. Love this.

I was SO very excited when Jane contacted me and asked me to do a maternity session for her. After a super busy family season in the fall I was happy to welcome the change of pace. I loved spending my evening with these two. Lots of laughing and having fun taking photos. I’m thrilled with how they turned out and absolutely cannot wait to meet the new addition after she arrives. Back in January the world was blessed with this little bundle of joy. I never get tired of meeting newborns during their first couple weeks of life. It is pure magic. Little J was perfectly sweet, beautiful, quiet, and adored by her big brother and loving parents. I’m sure she has changed already, the first couple of weeks are so special and fleeting. Congrats on Baby J, she is perfection.

Just before the rain came today, I got to do a 7 month portrait session with this little cutie pie and her sweet family. How cute is this little baby? She was raring to go and just fascinated with the world around her. I cannot believe she is already 7 months, it seems like just yesterday we were shooting her newborn portrait session. My how times flies. Anyway, little preview of much more adorableness to come.

This adorable family session comes from back in late November. For starters I am obsessed with this little dress! How cute is it?! Secondly, I love this little girl and her adorable family. Such wonderful people to work with. I have been working with little E since she was one month old. It may be Super Bowl Sunday, but in my house it is ninja time. It is always ninja time. I love this guy. He is SO ready to be FIVE, I am desperately trying to soak up every minute of FOUR. Time is a funny thing.

I was fulfilling a print order for this family this weekend and it reminded me of how much I loved this photo. I met this family out at the Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop, TX over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Such a wonderful group of people. I have more to share, but just a snippet for now.

This family session from back in November was action packed and a full on adventure. There were three generations present and also three little toddlers all under two. They were a riot. Someone was always up, down, or crying but we managed to pull off a lovely session anyway. Of course, the Wildflower Center was a gorgeous backdrop for this. I just love all the vivid colors and textures from the session. Such sun!
